Tooth-colored Fillings
State of the art tooth-colored filling materials called composite resins allow Dr. Denison to match your fillings to the shade of your natural teeth. Say good-bye to the dark silver amalgam fillings in your mouth.
Soft- Tissue Laser
The soft tissue laser is used by Dr. Denison in periodontal therapy to kill bacteria and cleanse infected periodontal tissues in a very non-invasive, non-painful way. Healing times are shortened because of the clean, gentle treatment. It is also very useful in contouring tissues in cosmetic and implant treatments.
Diagnodent Cavity Identifying Laser
Determination of whether a small stain on a tooth is actually decay or not is sometimes difficult and cannot be determined by an X-ray or examination. The Diagnodent laser technology is used to identify whether a stain is just a stain or if it has progressed to decay.
Dental Implants
Dental implants allow Dr Denison to replace a missing tooth in a manner that is the most like the original tooth. Other teeth are not affected by the treatment and they protect the surrounding bone and gum tissue against harmful processes that occur after the loss of a tooth.
Intraoral Antibacterial Treatments
State of the art intraoral antibacterial agents provide us with a less invasive way to treat periodontal disease. Antibiotics are carried in a medium that hardens, directly into the infected periodontal pocket spaces, and the material slowly dissolves over a period of about ten days.
Oral Cancer Screening
The incidence of oral cancer has risen drastically in the last few years. Today, oral cancer is often associated with younger otherwise healthy individuals. Dr Denison believes it is important for his adult patients to have an oral cancer examination every year as early detection is key to successful state of the art treatment.
Smile Imagery and Analysis
If you are less that satisfied with your smile or just curious about what cosmetic treatments would do for your smile, Dr. Denison can take digital pictures of your teeth and create images that can give you an idea of what dental treatment could do to improve your smile.
