If you are missing all or many of your teeth, dentures are the optimal way to restore your smile, self-confidence, and oral functionality. Thanks to the many advances in dentistry, today’s dentures fit better and look more natural than ever before. Modern technology has revolutionized the way dentures are made and how comfortable they can be. Dr. Denison specializes in using the latest technology to create dentures that look like natural teeth. If you have lost some or all of your teeth dentures are an excellent way to restore functionality so that you can eat like normal, regain our natural speech, and smile with confidence. We focus on the small details that make our patients feel comfortable with their dentures. This includes making sure that the size of your new teeth are correct for your appearance. You never need to worry about ill-fitting dentures causing pain or looking out of place because every set of dentures is custom made for each individual patient.

Benefits of Dentures

  • Dentures greatly improve the appearance of your face.
  • They provide support for your facial muscles, including the cheeks and lips.
  • They make it easier to speak.
  • Dentures help you eat and chew food.
  • They can even make you look younger!

How are Dentures Made?

Once Dr. Denison determines what type of appliance is best for you, the general steps are to:

  • Make a series of impressions of your jaw and take measurements of how your jaws relate to one another and how much space is between them
  • Create models, wax forms, and/or plastic patterns in the exact shape and position of the denture to be made
  • Cast a final denture
  • Adjustments will be made as necessary

Denture Options

Whether you need complete dentures, partial dentures, replacement of your old dentures or denture repair, you can expect great results at Denison Dental. We are pleased to offer two kinds of custom dentures – partial and complete dentures.

  • Partial are used when some natural teeth are missing
  • Complete are installed in cases when a person is missing all the teeth

It’s important to note that even if you wear full dentures, you still must take good care of your dental health. Brush your gums, tongue and palate every morning with a soft-bristled brush before you insert your dentures to stimulate circulation in your tissues and help remove plaque.
